So I decided to draw Dragon gods and goddesses that represented the 4 main elements. Of course the first one is the earth dragoness, Gaia, Mother Earth. I also wrote a short story to go with it because writing is my real passion :) . So here we go
Pronunciation:
Gaia: Gah ee yah
Bolean: Bo lee on

Story time :D

Bolean motioned towards the back of the cave. Lit up by her own Goddess light was the Mother Earth, Gaia. She sat with her eyes closed, on either side of her were wing-like protrusions of twisted metal. Her belly was decorated by mountains, on the back of each leg were gems. It was said they changed color and even gem type based on her moods; right now they were diamonds. Her talons were black obsidian, her tail was an old weeping willow, her back spines went from leaves to canyon walls, to platues, to volcanoes and mountains, and finally hills. Each gigantic leg was made of a different element of earth. The front left, the ocean floor, the front right, and african savannah, the back left, sedimentary rock, the back right, sandy beaches. The leaves of a rainforest canopy covered her head and neck. It took me awhile to take this all in, as none of these textures staid still. On the sand you could see the blurred line where an invisible tide washed ashore. Sometimes the footprints from an invisible dog or human ran over it; only to eventually be washed over by the waves. The leaves shook by their own invisible winds. The savannah was pock marked by footprints of animals, trees, and dry watering holes. Every now and then a piece of coral would brush across the ocean floor. The mid section of her body, a dessert, swirled in sanddunes, sandstorms, and if you looked carefully you could see the three human pyramids. Her tail was covered by short prarie grass that moved to it's own wind. Suddenly her tail swished, branches breaking off the ancient willow. The gemstones on her legs glowed blue and grew into Lapis Lazulis. The canyon walls on her spine shook with a rock slide. The snow on her mountains shook, a few avalanches taking place. The her eyes slid open, looking right at me, glowing grey with speckles of every color of every gemstone known to dwarf or dragon. "Welcome hatchling." she spoke smoothly in a voice much like my own mother. Her voice resonated off the cave walls, powerful yet calming, motherly yet demanding, Goddess like. A statue that I hadn't noticed until then moved slightly. A grizzly bear statue, bigger than any other bear I'd ever seen before stretched it's paws from a sitting position, standing up slowly. "West, please, do not scare the hatchling."
"Wouldn't dream of it Mastress." The bear replied in a slow growl, that was surprisingly not threatening at all. The bear turned it's grey eyes to me, a twinkle of almost humor lighting in them. Then I put two and two together. Mythology had never been a strong point for me, but this was Gaia's symbol animal. The Great Grizzly Mother, West.
The cave shook as a rumble escaped from Gaia's throat, it took me even longer to realize that she was laughing. "Many of my followers aren't the brightest; the other half are extremely patient and intelligent."
"Which on is he Masteress?" West asked, not taking her calm eyes off of me.
"I'm not sure yet..." Gaia said, her eyes sparking with humor and her mouth forming a calm and comforting, motherly smile.
